Program Provides Free Electric Scooters to Stroke Survivors
Thursday June 22, 2006
The National Stroke Association (NSA) along with the Clarence Vincent Foundation will give away five electric scooters in 2006 to stroke survivors who are experiencing difficulty getting around. These scooters are intended to allow a person to move around with added control, comfort and self-confidence.
Scooter recipients will be carefully selected based on need and availability. Scootaround, a scooter rental company, will be supplying the scooters.
Application information is available from the Clarence Vincent Foundation.
