Stroke Support - Right Here on About.com

Thursday December 25, 2008
If you have suffered a stroke, the web is a great resource of information about stroke-related issues. And sometimes those who are the most qualified to provide you with the information you need are people who have experienced issues that are similar to yours. These are people who have "crossed that bridge before" and have become experts at doing so. In them, you can find support that no other can provide.

We have just re-launched our forum -- a place where stroke survivors can share information and experiences. Whether you have a specific question about a stroke-related issue (e.g., treatments, medications, hospitals, doctors, insurance information, or anything else), or you are searching for support from people in the stroke community who have experienced issues that are similar to yours, visit our forum and join in the conversation.

I am certain that what you and other stroke survivors and their caregivers share will help make life as a stroke survivor or caregiver a little easier.

As your guide, I will be checking in periodically, and I hope to be able to help you with your questions and discussions.
