Definition: A bout of disorganized electrical activity in the brain which happens spontaneously and affects a person's behavior for a period of time. Seizures can last for multiple minutes and should be considered medical emergencies.

Behaviors observed during a seizure can range from staring and inattention, to whole body shaking and memory impairments.
